Proposal for Sale of Naming Rights To Churchill Park, Lautoka

In order to provide much needed funding to allow improvements and upgrades to Churchill Park, Lautoka City Council is considering a proposal under which Naming rights to Churchill Park will be sold.

This proposal is similar to that of HFC Stadium in Suva and many other stadia & venues in the region. Council believes that the improvements are necessary to retain and attract valuable events to the city, and to ensure that the facilities are maintained and improved to appropriate international standards.

Ratepayers, residents and other interested parties are invited to attend a public consultation where further information will be provided and the views and opinions of stakeholders can be provided.

• Session 1: 2.00pm to 5.00pm
• Session 2: 5.30pm to 7.00pm
• Venue: Lautoka City Council Chambers, 169 Vitogo Parade, Lautoka.

For those unable to attend in person, written submissions marked “Public Consultation – Proposal for Sale of Naming Rights To Churchill Park, Lautoka” on a sealed envelope addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Lautoka City Council, 169 Vitogo Parade, Lautoka is to be deposited in Tender Box kept in Council Office, no later than 3pm on Friday, 24^th November, 2023.
